Stainless steel recycling is particularly relevant for Auckland's food service, hospitality, and industrial sectors. Commercial kitchen fit-outs, restaurant closures, and manufacturing plant decommissions generate significant quantities of stainless scrap.
Identifying Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is non-magnetic (in most grades), smooth, and resistant to rust. If a magnet doesn't stick and the metal is silver and non-rusting, it's likely stainless. We can test on-site using a spectrometer if grade verification is needed for high-value loads.
